Dajana Fifield (aka Dajana Trtanj)
Theatre Maker | Producer | Director | Talent Booker | Co-founder of 27degrees
Hello. I’m Dajana, a theatre maker, producer, director, and talent booker with a passion for creating immersive, out-of-this-world theatre and events. Born in Croatia, I’ve lived in Philadelphia, New York, Madrid, Doha, and London, where I spent 17 years before settling into my seaside life in Brighton. With nearly two decades in the theatre, festival, and event industries, I continue to find inspiration in the vibrant world of live performance.
My journey began in the heart of theatre, from performer/actor to producer.
Over the past decade, I have been working with renowned Spanish events company, Elrow. I’ve overseen talent booking across the UK and Ireland, managing diverse teams of performers, performance managers, MUAs, and costume assistants. This role has deepened my expertise in talent coordination, communication, and team safety, all while nurturing an environment that values creativity and well-being.
In 2018, I co-founded 27degrees, a migrant-led theatre company dedicated to immersive storytelling in unconventional spaces. As part of a small, hands-on team, beyond the creative aspect, I manage everything from recruitment, casting and contracts to communication and social media, aiming to bring accessible and inclusive theatre to diverse audiences.
My creative projects have taken me from touring UK arenas with Fat Boy Slim to producing Walkabout acts at Morning Gloriville’s East London residency and the Edinburgh Fringe. I’ve also had the honor of producing immersive acts for the British House at the Rio Olympics. Each project fuels my commitment to work with talented eccentrics, extroverts, and introverts alike, bringing the full spectrum of human experience—its humor, tragedy, and beauty—into every performance.
Welcome to my world of theatre and events, where we aim to make every show an unforgettable experience.
